PartnerStack Alternative: Why Some Teams Want Pricing They Can See

July 21, 2026 · Promio Team · 7 min read

PartnerStack is a well-regarded partner platform for B2B SaaS companies — but it shares one trait with a lot of enterprise software: you can't see the price without booking a demo. PartnerStack removed public pricing from its site and now requires a sales call to get a quote.

If you want to compare options without a call, here's what's publicly known about each platform, side by side.

A note on this comparison: this article is published by Promio to help you evaluate us against PartnerStack. PartnerStack is a trademark of its respective owner and hasn't reviewed or endorsed this page. PartnerStack doesn't publish pricing, so the figures below are third-party estimates gathered from public buyer/analyst sources (not PartnerStack's own site) as of July 2026 — treat them as directional, and get a live quote from PartnerStack directly before budgeting.

Every number is on one page, and there are only two of them

What you pay Promio is the monthly plan price, published on the pricing page. What you pay your affiliates is whatever commission you set — invoiced at cost when Promio pays them for you, with no share taken. There is no third number: no percentage of commissions, no per-partner seat, no minimum spend, no annual commitment.

Why PartnerStack doesn't publish pricing

PartnerStack positions itself as a partner ecosystem platform, not just affiliate tracking — its Growth and Enterprise tiers bundle a learning management system, MDF (market development fund) management, a partner marketplace for discovery, and deal registration for reseller-style partnerships. That breadth is genuinely useful for companies running structured partner programs with dozens of account managers and channel partners — but it also means pricing is quoted per-deal based on partner count, feature needs, and support level, confirmed only "during your demo."

Based on public buyer commentary (not PartnerStack's own published numbers, since none exist), entry-level PartnerStack pricing is commonly reported in the $500–$800+/month range on an annual contract, with enterprise deals running into five figures a year. There are also reports of an additional fee — often cited between 3–15% — layered on top of partner commissions, separate from the base subscription. Again: get PartnerStack's current number directly from them, since none of this is on their site.

Promio's pricing, published and self-serve

Promio publishes every number, takes no share of partner commissions, and lets you sign up without a call:

  • Free — €0/mo: We track and calculate. You pay your affiliates yourself. Tracking only — no payouts handled. Unlimited programs, affiliates, clicks and conversions; referral links, codes and QR sharing; discount-code attribution; one-click integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, API/webhooks); a hosted signup page for your program.
  • Growth — €89/mo (most popular): We invoice the commissions, then pay your affiliates for you. Up to €2,000 in commissions paid out / month.
  • Scale — €249/mo: Four times the payout volume, same hands-off process. Up to €8,000 in commissions paid out / month.
  • Pro — €599/mo: For programs paying out serious commission every month. Up to €20,000 in commissions paid out / month.

Two things are true on every plan, including Free: Promio takes 0% of your affiliates’ commissions, and nothing is metered — clicks, conversions, affiliates and programs never trigger a charge. The plan bands are on commission Promio pays out for you, not on revenue you track: go past the band and only the money movement pauses, while the commissions stay tracked, owed, and payable by you directly that month.

When Promio does handle payouts, it invoices you your affiliates’ commissions at cost and passes them through in full — that invoice contains no Promio revenue at all. The payment provider’s transfer fee (from €0.25) is deducted from each affiliate payout, the way PayPal and Wise do it, and is shown to the affiliate before it is taken.

No demo is required to see a price, start a program, or work out what a month would cost you — and no contract, so the answer to "what if we stop" is that you stop.

The real trade-off

This isn't really "which platform is better" — it's "which model fits your program."

PartnerStack

Built for partnership teams managing structured, multi-motion programs (referral + reseller + co-sell) with internal LMS training, MDF budgets, and a partner marketplace for discovery — features that make sense once you have a dedicated partnerships headcount and program complexity to match.

Promio

Built for companies that want affiliate tracking and attribution running on day one for nothing, without a sales cycle, contract or minimum spend — and that would rather pay a published flat price to hand over the payout admin than a percentage of every commission their partners earn.

If your team already has a partnerships function and needs LMS/MDF/marketplace tooling, PartnerStack's feature depth may justify the process of getting a quote. If you want to launch this week and see exactly what you'll pay before you commit, that's the gap Promio is built to fill.

FAQ

PartnerStack quotes pricing per deal based on partner count, feature tier, and support level, confirmed during a sales demo rather than published as a fixed rate.

Yes — Promio's Free plan has no monthly fee, no contract and no time limit, and no percentage is taken from partner commissions on it or on any paid plan. The free tier does everything except move the money: you pay your partners yourself, from the owed list Promio keeps for you.

Yes, from €89/mo. Promio invoices you monthly for the commissions earned — at cost, with nothing added — and then transfers the money to each partner via Stripe Connect, the same core job PartnerStack's payment processing does. On the free tier Promio calculates and tracks what is owed but leaves the transfer to you.

No — 0% on every plan. This is the clearest difference from the 3–15% commission fee third-party sources report for PartnerStack: the invoice Promio raises for a payout run is pure pass-through, collecting exactly what your partners are owed and keeping none of it. The plan price is the entire commercial relationship. (The payment provider’s transfer fee, from €0.25, is deducted from each payout and disclosed to the partner — that goes to Stripe, not to Promio.)

Yes. Signup is self-serve — no demo or sales call required to start on the Free plan.
